Insurer asking city OK to raze house for parking

MONTPELIER – Vermont Mutual Insurance Co. has asked the city for permission to demolish a two-story Court Street house listed on the National Register of Historic Places to make way for a parking lot.
Car culture sucks. This is a very pedestrian and bike friendly small city, yet people get all bent out of shape if they can't drive and park 10 feet from where they are going.
